How can I make a booking?

Our booking office is open Monday – Friday 09.00– 5pm and Saturday from 09.00 – 12.30. Please call our staff to make a booking over the phone on 1300 559 657 or complete an online booking form.

What time should I put on the online booking form as my departure/pick up time?

You need to enter the time of your flight on this form. Once confirmed we will advise you of your pick up time the day before you travel.

How soon should I book my airport transfer?

Bookings are required and we recommend you book as early as you possibly can prior to your date of travel. We are a pre-paid service and cannot guarantee your transfer until your booking is confirmed with payment.

What if there is an emergency and I need to book outside these hours?

Ideally all bookings are to be done within office hours however, there are times when unexpected things arise. If you need to make a booking outside these hours please call our emergency number on 0423 840 198.

Where do you meet the driver at the airport on arrival into Sydney?

International: For passengers arriving on International flights, our meeting point is outside the doors near McDonald’s at the International Arrivals Hall.

Terminal 2: For passengers arriving on Domestic flights our meeting point is outside the glass doors near luggage carousel 6 for the Virgin/Jetstar terminal 2.

Terminal 3: In Qantas terminal 3 the driver will meet you at luggage Carousel 3 . Look for the driver in a royal blue Hawaiian shirt holding  a sign with your name on it.

Are you a door to door service?

We are a door to door shuttle bus service. We will pick you up from your home and drop you to the Domestic or International Terminal,  Airport Hotel, Central Railway Station or Overseas Cruise Ship Terminals.

How early do I need to be at the airport prior to my flight departure time?

We schedule passengers to arrive at the domestic terminals approximately 1 hour prior to flight departure time. This allows you to meet the 30 min check in requirement for most Domestic carriers. For International flights the airlines will require you to be at check-in anywhere between 2 to 3 hours prior to your scheduled flight departure time depending on the airline and the destination of your flight. We generally schedule passengers to arrive at the airport 2 hrs prior to departure. If you prefer longer please let our staff know at time of booking

What happens if my departure or arrival is delayed?

It is the passenger’s responsibility to advise us of any delays Please advise us of any delays as soon as possible by email or by phone. The staff will provide options to you in regards to your shuttle transfer.

What is a Hot Spot?

We offer a discounted rate of travel if you meet at one of our Hot Spot Pick up / Drop off Points. The Hot Spot Locations are:
• Doyalson Metro Service Station
• Gosford Train Station
• Kariong Interchange – Mt Penang Gardens Information Centre

What is a Meet and Greet?
We offer a meet and greet service which provides you with the opportunity to meet family / friends or transport children under the age of 16 years to the airport and back at a reduced rate.
Do you charge a discounted rate for groups / families?

We offer a reduced rate when 2 or more adults travel for both a one-way or return journey from the same address or suburb. We also offer family discounts when booking a return journey. This is based on a minimum of 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 16 years travelling with them.

How much luggage can I take?

Our standard baggage allowance is one (1) large checked-in bag, and one (1) carry-on bag only. Anything additional to these items is classified as excess baggage. The most common excess baggage items include; golf clubs, surfboards, snow skis, bicycles and large numbers of suitcases. There is an additional cost for any additional luggage. When making a booking please ensure you inform our staff if you are taking any of these items.

Can I get assistance with carrying my luggage?

Our drivers can offer assistance with carrying your luggage to and from your front door to our bus. Due to Sydney Airport Security Regulations we cannot assist you with your luggage into the terminals at Sydney Airport as the driver must remain with the bus at all times. If extra assistance is required you can arrange airport assistance with the airline you are travelling with.

When do you operate?

Central Coast Shuttle Express operates airport transfers seven (7) days a week. .Our first bus for the day usually arrives at the airport at approximately 06.00am. We generally arrive and depart the airport every couple of hours. Our last bus for the day can accommodate flights arriving at the Airport as late but this does vary day to day. There is an additional cost for flights scheduled to arrive after 8.00pm (20.00hrs).

Do you provide car seat?

Yes. We provide car seats for children up to 7 years of age at no additional cost.

Can you transport my pet?

Under bus regulations we are not authorised to transport any animals to and from the airport with the exception of Seeing Eye dogs.

Do you provide Transfers to Newcastle Airport?

At this stage we only offer services to Sydney Airport and Sydney Cruise Terminals.
